The Unexpected, Sometimes, Is Beautiful

So I have been a bit of an awful blogger the past couple of weeks.

I had posts scheduled whilst in Jamaica but it has become apparent that either Blogger's scheduling system hasn't been working or I actually have no idea how to use it properly. I'm thinking it is more than likely the latter.

I did take my laptop away with me but the internet connection where we were staying wasn't amazing and admittedly I became a little distracted.

Jamaica was amazing. I am not going to go into too much detail right now about it as I think it deserves its own post, but it is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. And for one reason in particular it became a trip we will never forget.

I explained in my Sorry it's been so long post a little while back that I have been suffering with some health issues the past few months, turns out there was a lot more to them than we had even thought possible. A passing comment from my brother whilst we were away led to a Jamaican hunt for a pregnancy test, and low and behold we are expecting a baby!

Now we had no idea how far into my pregnancy I would be and seeing we were in a developing country there wasn't much we could do other than book in for a private scan for the day we came home and enjoy the rest of our time away. Booking that private scan was the best thing we could have done. I was thinking I would maybe be around 24 weeks pregnant at most, turns out our baby's due date is in fact January 5th!

That's around 7 months of pregnancy done and the whole time we have been none the wiser.

Needless to say this has been a huge shock, hense the lack of content here these past weeks, but we are over the moon and honestly can't wait to meet our little one already.

I have some content waiting to go live and plenty of new ideas to write about what with the holidays fast approaching and a whole new chapter of life starting!

Bare with me if you can and hopefully it's about to get a whole lot more interesting round here!
