The First Weekend of Autumn

Autumn, Stock Photo, YSL, iPhone 7

This past Thursday was the autumnal equinox marking the end of summer and the start of a new season.

Everyone seems to love summer, but honestly I do love Autumn. I love seeing the world around me become beautiful warm shades and the sound of crunching leaves under my feet. I also love scarves and layers!

But for me this year, the most important thing I want to take from this change in season is in myself. The change of a season shouldn't have focus the loss of the previous one but the chance for a new chapter, new memories and new chances to make the most of each day.

This post is more of just a random rambling of mine if I am honest but I'm feeling really good about things that are to come right now. Getting back on the blogging wagon is something I wanted to do for months and now I am back into it I want to make sure I don't unintentionally break for 4 months again, and for me that's taking into consideration where I went wrong last time. Honestly I put so much pressure on myself to meet a schedule with my posts that it became to much like work on top of a full time job and everything else in life. I enjoy writing and want to enjoy this space. This time round I am only commuting to 2 weekly scheduled posts on a Monday and a Thursday, then if I feel like it, I will also post something at the weekend, but with no pressure to do so.

The world can be such a sad place right now that I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to make my own life and my own surroundings as happy, positive and productive as possible and it is this attitude I am taking into a new season.

Creating my own sunshine on gloomier days and enjoying the people and the world around me.

How are you approaching the change in seasons? Is there anything you really look forward to about autumn?
