Monday Motivation | 2

I tend to feel my motivation in peaks and troughs. I can go weeks with high motivation levels then all of a sudden it just goes. This is especially true when it comes to fitness and working out. I can solidly stick to my routine for 5 - 6 weeks, at the gym 5 times a week and even going to for cardio on my rest days but then I could miss 1 workout and that's all it takes, my oomph is gone!

The same goes for work but it can fluctuate throughout the day. I could be firing through emails at impressive speeds, getting stuff done left and right, then all of a sudden something will happen and again, just like that, it's gone. I love my job, but just like anything, if the motivation just isn't there for one day, that one day can feel like a week.

I love the Monday Motivation hashtag. I scroll through it on Twitter every Monday morning on my train journey into work and it peps me up for the day. It's surprising how just a few words can change your perspective on the day ahead and make it not only bearable but amazing!
Along with Twitter, I find Pinterest and Instagram great sources of inspiration throughout the week. The numerous amazing women I follow do wonders for my mood throughout the week when things are tough and a 3pm scroll through my feeds can often give me that little boost to get me through those last 2 hours when even coffee is struggling to do the job.

What are your main sources of motivation during tough days?
