Bumble and Bumble: Bb. Brilliantine

Bumble and Bumble, Hair Product, Beauty Blog

'is unique and hard to define. It gives hair polish and a sort of languid, slept-in, sexy look'

I am not a huge repurchaser. There are just so many wonderful things out there why commit yourself to the same one product every time? The fact that I have now bought 3 of these amazing little guys, in my opinion, speaks volumes.

My hair is extremely fine, not helped by a bout of alopecia around 2 years ago. It has always been pretty lifeless and most products just weigh it down.

The description given to this product by Bumble and Bumble is the most spot on product description I think I have come across. I can't quite figure out its purpose but I have also ever used anything else quite like it.

You can use this on damp or dry hair but I personally see more of an effect on dry. I use about a 5p sized amount, rub it between my hands and ruffle through my hair. On straight hair it gives a more unkempt, voluminous look that is just unachievable for anyone with fine hair like myself.

Now I have cut my hair a fair bit shorter I tend to wear my hair loosely waved on a day to day basis and this just gives it a new lease of life. It breaks the waves up making them look more natural and lightweight but also somehow holds them all day without hairspray.

It just makes my hair look full, thick and choppy which is enough to warrant me walking to Selfridge's on my lunch break to repurchase as soon as I run out regardless of my bank balance!

Have you ever tried any products from Bumble and Bumble?

I have tried a few things from them. They are a premium hard brand but worth the money. Not been dissapointed yet! X
